1. Parties and scope
These terms govern your use of the Pairlink mobile app (the "App") provided by Caliptic ("we"). By downloading or using the App you accept these terms. Contact: info@caliptic.com.
2. The service
Pairlink provides direct, end-to-end encrypted messaging and voice and video calls between two devices that were paired in person with two QR scans. There are no accounts. Communication happens only while both devices are open and online; messages are not left for a device that is off. Some networks (for example strict firewalls or some mobile carrier networks) may not allow a direct connection, in which case a connection may not be established.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the App on your own devices in accordance with these terms. Copying, reverse engineering (except where permitted by applicable law), renting or reselling the App is prohibited.
4. Fees and purchases
The App cannot be used without a purchase. Options:
- Monthly subscription: USD 9.99 / month
- Yearly subscription: USD 99.99 / year
- Lifetime: USD 499.99, one-time
Prices may appear different in the store's local currency and with taxes. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- The lifetime purchase grants use on devices with the same store account for as long as the App is offered and supported in the store.
- Because there are no accounts, purchases are tied to your store account; on a new device use "Restore Purchases".
5. Refunds
Refunds are subject to the Apple and Google refund policies. Because purchases are made through the stores, send refund requests directly to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play.
6. Acceptable use
- You may use the App only for lawful purposes.
- An invitation QR code authorizes a connection for the 5 minutes your screen stays open; show it only to the person you want to connect with.
- You are responsible for the security of your device and its screen lock.
7. Data
Chat history and pairings are kept only on your device; there is no backup on our servers. If you lose your device or delete the App, this data cannot be recovered. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that a connection can be established on every network, and we are not liable for indirect damages. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Additional terms for Apple
If you obtained the App from the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies. These terms are between you and Caliptic, not Apple; we, not Apple, are responsible for maintaining and supporting the App.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the current version is published on this page. Your right to use the App may end if you breach these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it; subscriptions are cancelled through the store.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence.
